Service Description

Pilates can be very helpful during and after pregnancy. Providing your pregnancy is relatively straight-forward, there is no reason why you cannot continue to do Pilates up to your due date (and beyond!) Pilates is great for strengthening abdominal and pelvic floor muscles along with general strength, improving posture to help prevent back problems and general aches and pains, improving circulation reducing chance of varicose veins and leg cramps, increasing stamina and energy, ensuring the body is well aligned to ensure baby has space to move into optimal position for birth, preparing for a quicker postnatal recovery and practicing breathing and relaxation techniques that will be useful in labour.
